Doesn’t every person who really respects and loves their own country, want it to thrive? Do they not take pride in their national sovereignty and want a non-corrupt legal system that treats all its citizens equally fairly? A country with modern infrastructure where most people have a worthwhile job, not reliant on welfare, and where all citizens have the opportunity of a worthwhile education free from propaganda: is that not appealing to all? A healthcare system that everyone can afford as a result of fair and reasonable taxation: is that not to be desired? Well strangely enough, that is exactly what Trump wants for his country.
President Obama failed on all these issues. He naively attempted to bribe Iran with billions of taxpayer money. The Department of Justice was corrupt and politicised, as was the FBI. Incompetent trade deals resulted in a trade deficit of hundreds of billions of dollars paid for by borrowed money resulting in doubling the national debt to $20 trillion. The country was over-regulated, with petty regulations adversely affecting employment and the economy, with many millions on food stamps and welfare. The infrastructure is in a severe state of decay, more like that of a developing country than the leading nation of the Western world. Barack Obama was simply a community organiser in Chicago with no experience of business or achievement in any area except perhaps oratory skills. He was a talker, whereas President Trump is a “doer”, a real-life achiever who makes things happen in a constructive manner.
President Trump has built a $10-billion real estate empire. As a former businessman turned politician he dismissed 16 professional politicians in the primaries before demolishing Hillary Clinton’s bid for the presidency. When the media dismiss such a man as stupid or insane, a sensible person would immediately question the authenticity and motivation of the media and ignore it. President Trump is immersed in a Deep State bureaucracy left by Barack Obama.
Being a tough determined fighter, the president is not only coping with all this unpatriotic adversity but moving on with his programme of employment, trade and the economy. It’s not difficult to appreciate President Trump’s qualities. They are exactly the qualities a degraded country needs of a president.
