The letters on Saturday by Nigel Pike (“Thailand faces destruction unless we can defuse 60 million boobs”) and Eric Bahrt (“Trump riding on Obama’s coattails”) echoed my thoughts on these topics so well that I want to express gratitude to the writers.
I mainly refrain from commenting in this column nowadays since letters by Wilcox, Pike and HHB (?) are merely nonsensical repetition of tired old mantras. Never do these writers bother to reply to sensible arguments contradicting their opinions. But one should give kudos where it is deserved, and the latest efforts of Pike and Bahrt certainly deserve it. Thank you, gentlemen.
