Student leader held back by his youth

Chulalongkorn University should not have gone so far as to remove Netiwit Chotiphatphaisal from its student council.

Showing disrespect by walking out of the university's initiation ceremony alone does not warrant such drastic action.
Chula, however, stands to blame to have allowed such a first-year student as Netiwit to run for the highly respectable and responsible job of president of its student council.
What this freshman needs is to invest many more years in furthering his studies, not to show off his uneducated arrogance. Netiwit needs to be cautioned that, at 20 years of age, there is much more that he doesn't know in this world than what he already knows.
Netiwit will soon be history if he fails to realise the illiterate things he has done so far, and still behaves in an arrogant, self-seeking and divisive way.
