Facing the future with equanimity
President of Chulalongkorn University Prof Dr Bundhit Eua-arporn, Apirut Vanchaam, the pioneer of the “Beacon Interface” project, and Tanin Timtong, creator of an innovative education system are among the 14 speakers taking part in the third inspirational talk “TEDxChulalongkornU” on the theme “Strive Forward: The World is Changing, Are You?”
TEDxChulalongkornU will be taken place on October 8 from 1pm at KBank Siam Pic-Ganesha, 7th floor Siam Square One.
Dr Bundhit Eua-arporn will discuss his mission to move Thailand forward through the “Siam Innovation District”, an open platform that boosts new ideas, integrates them, and develops them into meaningful innovation.
Apirut will explain his mobile banking application, which is specially designed for blind or visually impaired users, while Dr Nart Fongsmut will address the importance of proper care facilities for elderly Thais. Tanin will talk about his belief that technology makes learning more effective and readily accessible for Thai students in every part of the country.
Dr Wiphu Rujopakarn, a distinguished Thai astronomer and researcher on the evolution of galaxies, believes that investment in science not only renders better living conditions countrywide but also steers the nation forward.
