Nutritional logic leads to unpalatable (and illegal) ‘C Diet’

Re: “Liberal, Nazi vegetarian? Welcome to the club!”, Have Your Say, yesterday.

The prolific contributor Eric Bahrt seems to have been so pleased that that other prolific contributor JC Wilcox agrees with him on one matter that he has overlooked something in the letter “One cause of obesity often overlooked”.
JC Wilcox is clearly a skilful and careful exponent of the English language (not surprising since he has had so much practice), so we must read his letters as carefully.
In his opinion cows’ milk is very unhealthy for us because it is “alien to the human body” since cows “belong to a totally different species”.
Surely this must mean that JC Wilcox considers that the only truly healthy food for humans is our own species and that vegetarianism is a poor second choice, presumably to be adopted only because cannibalism could result in the compulsory consumption of a more unhealthy prison diet.
I was once obese but am now very skinny, even though I still consume dairy products and meat, albeit in lesser quantities and with more fruit and vegetables than previously.
I am also old and with dry and wrinkly skin, so would not be seen as an attractive meal by JC Wilcox should he decide to actually adopt his perfect nutritional diet.
