How do you recognise a xenophobe? Lies, demons and amnesia

Re: “Purveyors of falsehood engaged in distortion of facts”, Have Your Say, yesterday.

Nigel Pike is actually right about something, when he says intelligent Nation readers will not be deceived. On the subject in question, they will not be hoodwinked by crude demonising of minorities by Pike and JC Wilcox.
This is the kind of fascistic blunt instrument used by Donald Trump to target poor “Mexican rapists” and “drug dealers” whose “crimes” amount to looking for a better life in my country.
Mr Pike’s tearful pleas to think about girls who have “suffered so brutally” ignores the fact that God knows how many women in his country have been “suffering so brutally” at the hands of God knows how many native British men for God knows how long. Not a word about that – which is pretty much in line with Pike’s xenophobic instincts.
He calls me and certain other right-minded writers “purveyors of falsehood”, along with other typically childish insults. What arrogant nonsense. As has been said here already, Mr Pike resorts to selective amnesia to dismiss the facts when his horsecrap has been uncovered. He says he feels “compelled” to return the serve. Like Trump, he can’t help himself.
So this hard-right blowhard, a keystroke green beret, now wants to “move on”. I bet my sweet ass he does. Having been found out for being a rabble-rousing palooka, he uses another Trump tactic of blaming everyone but himself, especially when he has been outed for writing anti-immigrant rhetoric which is now on the record.
Well, Mr Pike, I am happy to move on. But please be aware, sir, that if or when you are taken to task for blatant dissembling in the future, don’t do a Trump on us and start whining again.
