Israel’s humanitarian treatment of Muslims even extends to terrorists 

Mr Bahrt’s letter exposes his usual bias and indeed ignorance regarding the Mideast conflict. The comparison he makes between Muslim fanatics and Israel’s (and America’s) alleged contempt for Muslim lives is a gross, preposterous misjudgement. For one thing, nobody has less respect for Muslim lives than the Muslims themselves. Consider Syria, Pakistan, Iraq and other countries where Muslims are butchered by the thousands by their own. Another fact that Mr Bahrt is ignorant about is that Israeli hospitals routinely treat the injured of Syria’s bloody civil war (at Israeli taxpayers’ expense). Israeli hospitals give life-saving treatment to thousands of Arab patients from the West Bank and Gaza who have no access to advanced medical facilities, including Hamas members and their families. All of these people are of course Muslims.
So much for the claim that Israel “couldn’t care less” about Muslim lives. By the way, injured terrorists who are hurt during attacks against Israeli civilians also get the best medical treatment in Israeli hospitals.
