Luksika’s friend scammed on Line

THAI NO 1 Luksika Kumkhum warned all her friends on Facebook after her fake ID was used to ask for financial help from a close friend.

Luksika, who is currently playing an ITF event in Hong Kong, posted Line conversations between her close friend and former player Hunsen Mulsap, and a person pretending to be her asking for money.
“This person copied the type of language I normally use with my friend, which convinced him that it was really me. He or she must have learned from our conversations on my Facebook. It’s scary,” Luksika told The Nation.

Hunsen transferred Bt2,500 on Tuesday but was contacted again yesterday for more money. This made him suspicious. He used other social media to talk to Luksika and found he had been deceived. Luksika warned: “Anyone who receives any messages on Facebook or Line from someone pretending to be me and seeking transfer of money, don’t fall for it. I have never done such a thing.”
