Without personal protection, there is no freedom

I was raised around guns – everyone had one, everyone needed one: Can’t kill varmints without one.

I had a BB gun when I was 7 or 8 and a .22 by the time I was 11, but by that time I had already been shooting them for years. I often carried my rifle through town. Even after we moved to new places, no one ever commented on me carrying a rifle. It was as natural as chewing gum or playing marbles.
So I am astonished that anyone could have such foolish ideas as to ban firearms or severely limit their availability. I apologise for being forthright, but such an idea is a figment in the imagination of leftist loons.
Without personal protection, there is no freedom.
In truth, there is no gun crisis.
