Brave Trump makes unprecedented progress on North Korea

Interviewed yesterday morning on CNBC, the CIA chief Mike Pompeo confirmed that President Donald Trump would meet the North Korean leader, and that Trump had high expectations for that meeting. A president, fearless and unencumbered by past history, has gone where no US leader before has managed to venture. No doubt the North Korean economy has been hurt by sanctions, and Kim Jong-un realised that this was not a president who plays games. Of course, Trump cannot expect credit for this courageous move from his liberal critics.
