For the record, I am a vegetarian. This is my lifestyle choice. However I respect my meat-eating colleagues and friends for their preferences, and I refuse point blank to condemn them for it. Sure we know that meat production has been industrialised, but so has agriculture. There are well over 7 billion people on this planet, and we have to feed them all somehow.
But I for one am getting fed up with the ongoing compulsive-obsessive disorder that best describes Jenny Moxham’s bellyaching, and that of her friends (or are they manufactured personalities?) here. Last week she used a highly emotive word, rape, to attack the meat producing industry. I find this very offensive and completely inappropriate, as I am well aware of the devastating effects this act has on my fellow human beings.
I wonder if this person does the rounds of international newspapers spreading the same obscene message. I doubt that some single-agenda busybody in Australia restricts her ongoing rant against her own species to a Thai newspaper. This I find quite disturbing. But I doubt this lunacy will not end here. With this type of person it rarely does.
