Re: “Citizenship of three young cave survivors shines light on plight of stateless persons”, National, July 13.
It has been revealed that two members of the Wild Boars team and their coach are stateless persons, and that the three have been promised Thai citizenship after their cave ordeal.
What bothered me was the picture of the two footballers wearing jersey with a beer logo on it. I’m not trying to be politically correct, but don’t you think it is inappropriate?
What’s more, one of the boy is holding what appears to be a small trophy that surely could be mistaken for a mug of beer with the head. Cheers!
