Foggy focus among contentious issues
There is a tremendous difference between calling me a sissy and inciting violence against me or calling Robin Grant a liar and a glutton.
The difference is that, while I am not a sissy and I never incited violence against anyone, Grant continuously lies and makes it clear in his letters that his enjoyment of consuming meat and dairy is more important than any concern for the environment or animal rights.
His claim that PETA wanted people’s pets set loose in the wild was a 100-per-cent blatant lie that he has never been man enough to apologise for, even after I proved him wrong over and over again.
Since I know some of the people at PETA, when he writes horrible lies about them I take it very personally.
Incidentally, I once tried to make a peace offering to Grant by praising one of his letters, and he responded by lying about what I wrote and went into another tirade against animal rights. Although my letter wasn’t even about animal rights, he never misses an opportunity to smear animal-rights activists.
Many (not all) of my critics are typical bullies who can dish it out but they can’t take it.
