FFP politician’s father was a communist … so what?
Re: “Pannika should explain herself before public mood sours”, Have Your Say, June 18.
Vint Chavala claims that the father of Future Forward Party member Pannika Wanich may have been a member of the communist party. Well, so what? I can think of one very prominent and senior retired soldier whose father was also a communist party member, so it doesn’t necessarily mean very much.
Khun Vint might not be comfortable with some of the policies advocated by Future Forward, but over 6 million Thais, many of them from younger generations, would beg to differ. We live in interesting times.
