TOT employee commits suicide in branch’s carpark
A middle-level employee of TOT Plc was found dead in his car outside the company’s branch in Nonthaburi’s Muang district on Wednesday.
The Rattanathibet police station was alerted at 10am that the body of Wiya Pichit, 48, had been discovered in the carpark of TOT’s Ngam Wong Wan branch.
His bloated body was found in the driver’s seat beside a charcoal stove bearing ashes.
His family told police that Wiya, a C-6 official at the branch, had failed to return home on Sunday.
A doctor determined he had died about three days ago. The body was sent for an autopsy at the Police Hospital.
