A strengthening northeast monsoon across the Gulf and the South would bring more rain with heavy showers affecting the South. Moderate winds would whip the waves up to about 2 metres in the lower Gulf and above 2 metres during storms. Ships should proceed with caution.

Southern region (west coast): Partly cloudy with thunder showers in 30 per cent of the area; lows 23-24 degrees, highs 32-34 degree Celsius; wave height 1-2 metre, increasing to 2 metres during storms.
