Speeding pickup smashes into electricity posts in Nakhon Pathom

A pickup travelling at high speed in Nakhon Pathom province on Saturday crashed into 10 electricity posts, but the driver miraculously cheated death.

Bang Len Police Station was notified of the accident at 3.20pm and sent the officers to investigate the scene on Bang Len - Don Toom Road.

They found the driver trapped in the vehicle and contacted rescue volunteers and a paramedic team from Bang Len Hospital to help him out.

Nitikan Sirpinpao, 19, was severely injured on his right leg. He was immediately sent to the hospital.

Pramote Boonmuan, director of Nakhon Pathom’s Provincial Electricity Authority, said that 50-60 households would have no electricity because of the damage to electrical equipment from the accident.
