He said 44,034 people, including medical personnel and patients with chronic conditions, living in the districts of Chom Thong, Bang Khunthien, Bang Khae, Bang Bon, Phasi Charoen and Nong Khaem, have been inoculated.
He said other Bangkok residents will receive their jabs from June onwards.
“Even though people have been vaccinated, they still have to control the transmission of Covid-19 by maintaining social distancing, wearing facemasks, washing hands regularly, checking the body temperature and using the ThaiChana platform,” he said.
