High floodwater continued to block small vehicles on Bangkok’s Lat Phrao Road towards Bang Kapi on Sunday morning (September 27, 2026).
Flooding was reported along the stretch from the Big C store on Lat Phrao Road towards Bang Kapi. Motorists using the route were advised to check traffic conditions before travelling and avoid sections with high water.
Bangkok has been dealing with persistent heavy rain and flooding. The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation issued a cell-broadcast alert over critical canal levels on September 26, warning that water levels were continuing to rise.
Rain affects several Bangkok districts
Rain was reported across Bangkok at 7am on September 27, particularly in Bang Khen, Khlong Sam Wa, Min Buri, Lat Krabang and Nong Chok, as well as on the Thon Buri side of the capital.
The rain bands were moving northwards, with their intensity expected to remain broadly unchanged.

The forecast for Bangkok and surrounding provinces also includes:
- Minimum temperatures of 24–25°C.
- Maximum temperatures of 27–29°C.
- Variable winds at 10–25 kilometres per hour.
