The Consumer Protection Police Division (CPPD) seized 26,117 suspected counterfeit dietary supplements, cosmetics and perfumes from a warehouse in Bangkok’s Nong Khaem district on October 31, 2026, estimating their value at more than 5 million baht.
Police described the premises as a storage and distribution hub supplying Thai customers through online platforms, with a Chinese financier allegedly directing the operation.
CPPD investigators began examining an online shop after noticing health and beauty products advertised at prices unusually far below market levels. Police traced the stock to the Nong Khaem warehouse.
Investigators said all the goods had been smuggled from a neighbouring country into northeastern Thailand before being stored at the warehouse, ready for packing and delivery against online orders.
Officers encountered Nichawadi, 30, whose surname was withheld, who identified herself as the caretaker.
Police said Nichawadi admitted coordinating orders and dispatching products for more than a year, taking telephone instructions from a Chinese financier. According to the police account, the operation dispatched 2,000 items a day.
Police listed suspected counterfeit supplements and whey protein bearing the names ON (Optimum Nutrition), Hopeful Beta Oil, Blackmores, Swisse and Dr.PONG+ among the seized goods.
The suspected fake cosmetics and perfumes carried names including Gucci Bloom, Lancôme Paris, La Mer, Jo Malone, Le Labo, Chanel, SK-II, Dior Sauvage and Tom Ford Oud Wood.
Officers searched the warehouse under a warrant issued by Taling Chan Court after receiving information that large quantities of counterfeit branded supplements and cosmetics were being stored and sold there.
The operation was ordered by Pol Lt Gen Natthasak Chaowanasai, commissioner of the Central Investigation Bureau, and Pol Maj Gen Kritsadaporn Panprong, commander of the CPPD.
Pol Col Weerapong Klaithong, superintendent of the CPPD’s Subdivision 4, and Pol Lt Col Peeradon Kongthap, an inspector in the same subdivision, led the search team.
