PM Anutin ensures care for injured after Nonthaburi school shooting

Twenty people were injured and four people died in the shooting inside Debsirin Nonthaburi School. Anutin Charnvirakul also expressed condolences.

After presiding over the Prime Minister's Export Award 2026 ceremony, Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul commented on the shocking incident and said the injured would be cared for.

He added that relevant personnel had already been sent to the area.

“This is terrible. This is an incident that should not have happened. I would like to express my condolences over the deaths,” Anutin said.

Anutin added that he was saddened and wondered how such an incident could happen in his country.

Referring to the carrying of firearms, he said incidents like this were why the government refused to renew licences or allow firearm possession.
