Thailand enter the Asian Games volleyball last eight in Japan with nine points from three straight-set wins, with medal matches scheduled for September 22
Thailand’s women’s volleyball team are scheduled to face Indonesia in the last eight of the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games in Japan on Sunday (September 20, 2026), starting at 8am Thailand time. Thailand enter the match as Pool C winners, while Indonesia finished second in Pool A. The women’s competition at the 20th Asian Games runs from September 16–22, bringing together 14 teams in Aichi Prefecture and Nagoya.
Thailand–Indonesia opens the September 20 last-eight programme
Thailand’s match against Indonesia is the first of four last-eight fixtures on September 20. All times below are Thailand time, UTC+7.
Under the knockout bracket, Thailand would face the winners of China–Vietnam in the semi-finals if they beat Indonesia.
The reported medal-round programme is:
- Sunday, September 20: Last eight.
- Monday, September 21: Semi-finals.
- Tuesday, September 22: Bronze-medal match and gold-medal final.

Thailand finish Pool C with nine points
Thailand completed an unbeaten Pool C campaign, beating Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan and Chinese Taipei 3-0 to collect nine points without conceding a set. The top two teams from each preliminary-round pool advanced to the last eight.
