Nation Group has congratulated three employees who represented Thailand at the 2026 Asian Para Games in Japan, where they won a combined four medals — two silver and two bronze.
The fifth Asian Para Games were held in Aichi-Nagoya from October 18-24, bringing together leading Para athletes from across Asia. The official Games programme featured 18 sports.
Khwansuda Phuangkitcha, the world No.2 in her category, won silver in the women’s K44 under-47kg Para taekwondo event.
Pricha Somsiri claimed Thailand’s second silver medal among the three Nation Group employees, partnering Nattaphon Thaweesap in the men’s doubles SU5 Para badminton event.
Amnouy Wetwithan added two bronze medals despite competing with an injury. She reached the podium in the women’s singles WH2 event before combining with Onanong Phraikaeo to take another bronze in the women’s doubles WH1-WH2 badminton competition.
Shine Bunnag, Chairman of the Executive Committee and Chief Executive Officer of Nation Group, congratulated the three employees and presented financial support to the Nation Group athletes as recognition and encouragement for their achievements.
“I would like to congratulate all three of our employees who represented Thailand at this major international competition and brought home four medals for the Thai people,” Shine said.
“It is a source of pride for both the country and the organisation.
“I believe that reaching this point required an enormous amount of training, patience, perseverance and determination. This success is a reward that all of them truly deserve for their dedication.”
Shine also offered encouragement to Thai athletes who did not achieve the results they had hoped for at the Games.
“For those athletes who have not yet reached the goals they set for themselves, I would like to encourage them to continue training and developing themselves so they can achieve success in the future,” he said.
