Heavy rain closes waterfalls at two national parks in Saraburi
Heavy rain in Saraburi has forced temporary closures at Krok E-Dok, Chet Sao Noi and Ko Sichang waterfalls because of dangerously fast-flowing water and flash-flood risks.

Khao Yai National Park and Namtok Chet Sao Noi National Park have temporarily closed several waterfall attractions in Saraburi after heavy rain caused rapidly rising water levels and dangerous currents.
Khao Yai National Park chief Chaiya Huayhongthong announced on Monday (August 31) that Krok E-Dok Waterfall in Cha-om subdistrict, Kaeng Khoi district, Saraburi, would be temporarily closed to visitors.
Continuous heavy rain in the waterfall’s upstream area triggered flash floods and strong currents in the stream, posing a potential danger to tourists entering the area.
The park therefore closed Krok E-Dok Waterfall for two days, from Monday (August 31) to Tuesday (September 1), as a precaution to reduce the risk of accidents.

Namtok Chet Sao Noi closes waterfalls for one day
Meanwhile, Namtok Chet Sao Noi National Park announced on Monday that all seven tiers of Chet Sao Noi Waterfall, along with Ko Sichang Waterfall, would be closed to visitors.
Heavy rain in Muak Lek district, Saraburi, on the night of Sunday (August 30) caused water levels in Muak Lek stream to rise sharply, resulting in powerful flows that could endanger visitors.
For safety reasons, the park suspended visits and all activities at Chet Sao Noi Waterfall’s seven tiers and Ko Sichang Waterfall for one day on Monday (August 31).
