Mobilix transforms logistics with a Built-to-Suit EV ecosystem

Mobilix is revolutionising transport towards sustainability through a fully integrated electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem, helping reduce environmental impact, lower logistics costs, and drive responsible growth for modern businesses.

Developed under the concept “Driving Sustainability in Motion”, Mobilix is regarded as Thailand’s first comprehensive green logistics solution, reinforcing WHA Group’s positioning as a sustainability leader and marking a major shift in the way transport is conducted.

This project emerged in response to key global sustainability megatrends, including net zero, Environment, Social and Governance (ESG), the circular economy, and the RE100 initiative, which advocates for the use of 100% renewable energy.

These trends have driven WHA Group to roll out a range of initiatives, including the deployment of carbon capture technologies and the expanded use of electric vehicles (EVs). Guided by a clear net-zero roadmap, WHA Group is building an integrated EV ecosystem through Mobilix, which not only reduces environmental impact but also helps lower logistics costs.

Chairin Netipiraphong, Managing Director of Mobilix Co., Ltd. and Senior Director, Business Development at WHA Corporation PCL, noted that he was reminded of a vision often shared by WHA Group’s Chairman of the Executive Committee and Group Chief Executive Officer, Jareeporn Jarukornsakul, who has emphasized that “sustainability is not a cost, but an investment that creates business opportunities and long-term returns.”

Chairin added, “This belief is at the heart of how we designed Mobilix. By delivering a fully integrated, built-to-suit EV ecosystem tailored to each customer’s operational needs, we enable businesses to transition toward sustainability while enhancing efficiency and long-term competitiveness.

End-to-end EV ecosystem for logistics

Mobilix began operations in November 2023 with an initial fleet of 377 vehicles and aims to expand this to 10,000 vehicles by 2030.

It offers a full suite of solutions designed to cover every aspect of the commercial EV value chain, tailored to each business through its built-to-suit EV ecosystem approach, supported by cutting-edge innovation and sustainability-driven practices.

Mobilix comprises three core services:

• EV rental service

A full-service EV rental programme with maintenance plans specifically designed for corporate use. Services include regular vehicle inspections, software updates, and all related support. The fleet covers electric pick-up trucks,trailers, passenger cars, and motorcycles.

• On-premise & public EV charging solution

It provides electric vehicle (EV) charging services and related equipment for both private and public locations, covering everything from installation to after-sales support, with ongoing scheduled maintenance. The service also includes public EV charging stations for general users, equipped with 360 kW super-fast chargers, currently deployed across strategic logistics areas such as ESIE Plaza 1, WHA Mega Logistics Centre Ladkrabang, and WHA Mega Logistics Centre Wangnoi 61.

• Mobilix software solution

A state-of-the-art digital platform for managing electric vehicles and batteries, it enables real-time vehicle location tracking and real-time analysis of vehicle and battery conditions to support predictive maintenance—helping to extend vehicle lifespan and optimise performance. The platform also analyses driving behaviour to improve driving efficiency.

In addition, the platform connects EV users to a charging station network, allowing them to locate charging points, reserve charging slots, and record charging data. It is further equipped with an advanced workflow management system, enabling both B2B and B2C customers to track delivery routes and ensure that all goods reach their destinations with digital confirmation through a Digital Proof system applied to every shipment.
