Guardian Glass's new innovative mirror products developed with user’s health and the environment as priorities
October 28, 2023 - Guardian Glass is paving the way for new possibilities in high-quality glass production, demonstrating the potential for creating UltraMirror™ with Vinyl, a mirror that uses a vinyl film to enhance safety by helping prevent glass from falling when cracked. Guardian Glass is also introducing UltraMirror™ Life, which features two layers of lead-free paint*.
*Does not use lead as an ingredient or intentionally add raw materials known to contain lead; but may contain trace amounts as an unintended contaminant.
UltraMirror™ with Vinyl: Guardian Glass is proud to push forth the combination of high-quality products with an added safety feature. The vinyl acts as an additional layer, helping to prevent broken mirror pieces from falling and causing harm to those nearby. Additionally, it features a silver coating on high-quality float glass. The Vinyl backing is available as an option for all products in the UltraMirror™ range.
UltraMirror™ Life: It is a unique mirror product distinguished by its lead-free* paint coatings. Guardian has a proven track record in producing this product and has been serving it to the automotive market for several years. Given our expertise, we are now introducing UltraMirror™ Life to the architectural segment.
Last year, Guardian Glass Asia Pacific and China (APAC) was honored to appoint Khun Amanda Chalisa Obdam, Miss Universe Thailand 2020, as a brand ambassador. For the launch of UltraMirror™ with Vinyl and UltraMirror™ Life in Guardian Glass today, Guardian has invited Khun Amanda Chalisa Obdam to speak on the benefits of these products.

The first is our Rayong plant, which specializes in the production of tinted glass. Our second plant is in Nongkhae, Saraburi, where we are hosting today's event. This facility produces float clear, laminated glass and mirror products. The UltraMirror™ product range is made in this facility, where they have mastered the know-how of mirror production. All products in our UltraMirror™ range are coated with silver and are copper-free. Today, we are proud to introduce two products from the UltraMirror™ range, the UltraMirror™ with Vinyl and UltraMirror™ Life.”
