In collaborations with many leading partners, led by the Government Savings Bank and the Border Patrol Police School, Siam Piwat continues its mission of spreading love, fostering social responsibility, and enhancing the quality of life for Thai people through the joint initiative “Citizen of Love by Siam Piwat X Mindful Meals for Young Minds by the Government Savings Bank.” This initiative extends an invitation to Thai people to share happiness and bring smiles through gifting  to students in remote areas. These gifts include stationery, school equipment, essential items, as well as vegetable seeds and agricultural equipment for schools to enhance the educational experience. Nutritious lunches are also offered to relive hunger among school children and promote their mental acuity.

Those interested in contributing can also make monetary donations to support the purchase of school supplies, essential items, and lunch ingredients at donation points located at Siam Paragon, the Government Savings Bank Head Office, and all Loft stores starting from November 1, 2023.

The “Citizen of Love' by Siam Piwat” initiative is a corporate social responsibility (CSR) program of the Siam Piwat Group that aligns with their commitment to strengthen their position as leaders in the development of world-class, sustainable destinations. This initiative is guided by the vision of operating a business that positively impacts numerous individuals and plays a significant role in enhancing the quality of life for Thai people.

A press conference was organized to launch the “Citizen of Love by Siam Piwat X Mindful Meals for Young Minds" initiative. The event aimed to extend an invitation to everyone to spread smiles and happiness through charitable acts.  Joining the press conference were Siam Piwat executive M.L. Auradis Snidvongs, Government Savings Bank executive Vachira Karasuddhi, and Deputy Commissioner of Border Patrol Police Bureau, Pol. Maj. Gen. Kanchon Intararam. The event took place on November 1, 2023, at NEXT TECH, 4th floor, Siam Paragon.

Also presence were Chalit Nakpawan, a renowned artist in Thailand, who joined in inspiring the use of art to contribute to a better world for students and representatives from Ban Tham Hin Border Patrol Police School in Ratchaburi Province, as well as Chef Chumpol Jangprai, a Michelin Star Chef and Sustainable Food Ambassador. Chef Chumpol conducted a cooking demonstration, preparing simple and nutritious recipes containing all five essential food groups. This cooking demonstration served as a valuable guide for teachers in preparing nutritious meals for students at school.

This creates opportunities for children to develop their own potential and continue building on it for sustainable benefits in the future."

Vachira Karasuddhi, Assistant Director of the Sustainability Division at the Government Savings Bank, expressed, "The Mindful Meals for Young Minds by the Government Savings Bank project has been an ongoing commitment. Our goal is to ensure students have access to nutritious meals and support schools in developing lunch programs for students from underprivileged families living in remote areas, who may not be eligible for free lunch programs. We achieve this by promoting self-sufficiency in agriculture, cultivating vegetables, and raising animals for consumption, which provides health benefits. Schools and teachers also acquire knowledge about sustainable agriculture, enabling them to apply these principles to develop school lunches in an appropriate manner to maximize benefits for students.”
