Hemaraj Land sales jump 61% in first 3 quarters

Hemaraj Land and Development has secured 87 sales contracts for 1,952 rai (312.3 hectares) of land in the first nine months of this year, which is a whopping jump of 61 per cent from the same period last year.

Of the contracts, 56 were with new customers and 31 from existing customers for project expansions – all new records. Of these customers, 43 per cent are Japanese and 29 per cent are in the automobile industry.
David Nardone, president and chief executive officer, said yesterday that Thailand remained attractive for foreign direct investment thanks to favourable cost, currency and market-access factors.
The company continues to see significant auto, logistics and other opportunities from Japanese, Australian, North American, Chinese and other investors.
This is reflected in the rise in total investment value promoted by the Board of Investment of 43 per cent in baht in the period.
