CBRE is sole sales agent for Baba Beach Club Phuket
Issara Junfa Co, a joint venture between Charn Issara Develop-ment and China's Junfa Real Estate, has appointed CB Richard Ellis (Thailand) as its sale agent for Baba Beach Club Phuket, a project worth Bt3 billion.
The project will play a pivotal role in redefining Phuket’s Natai Beach area and putting the area on the map for tourists as well as residential buyers, said Aliwassa Pathnadabutr, managing director of CBRE Thailand, the project’s sole sales agent.
Buyers of resort properties in Phuket have traditionally focused on the west coast of the island, such as Kamala, Surin, Bang Tao and Layan – areas where there is a high concentration of high-end and luxury properties. According to CBRE Research, 86 per cent of the completed condominiums and half of the completed villa supply are on the west coast.

Aliwassa said the criteria that resort property buyers seek include a sea-view or beachfront location, privacy and exclusivity, and connectivity to the airport and amenities. The branding element is also important for a new location, as the association of a known hotel operator instils confidence among buyers and ensures them of a certain standard of service and property upkeep, as well as design and specifications. Baba Beach Club Phuket will be completed and operational in the fourth quarter of 2016.
