Male and female players due to compete in Monday's qualifying round underwent the procedure, supported by Trust Pharmacy medical unit at HuaHin Grand Hotel on Sunday. The next test for main draw competitors is also at the hotel on Wednesday.
To comply with the government's policy, players and officials are required to perform RT-PCR tests on their assigned date and venue to be eligible to take part in the competition. Otherwise, they have to perform a test with other medical institutions at their own expense.
However, if a player tests positive at the tournament unit, he or she will be charged Bt2,300 for the second test.
The tournament, one of the TrustGolf Tour series in 2021, is organised by TrustGolf, a technologically advanced golf training facility. Supported by the Sports Authority of Thailand, the National Sports Development Fund, Black Mountain Golf Club, Dusit Thani Hua Hin, Hua Hin Grand Hotel and other sponsors, the event is scheduled at the Black Mountain Golf Club from February 25-28 in Prachuap Khiri Khan province.
