Intel Microelectronics (Thailand) announced the launch of ‘Amazing PC’, the campaign to drive IT technology and computer use throughout the country. Campaign activities nationwide include use of the ‘Intel® Easy Steps’ program integrated with entertainment for maximum audience engagement.
Thailand has more than 19 million households nationwide, with that there is a large 15 million households that still do not possess a computer for various reasons – one of the major reasons being not knowing its benefit or how it works. Fully aware of the importance of computer literacy to the country’s continued economic and social progress Intel has long been committed to its development, a commitment seen in activities such as ‘Sing with Your PC, ‘My Family PC,’ ‘Community e-Center’ and ‘Intel® Core™ Processors for Everyone’ programs.
“Intel has always been committed to helping uplift the lives of Thai people with advancement and equal opportunity in technology. Working closely with and supporting the government’s initiatives in promoting access to computers and reducing digital divide in the country, Intel led industry partners including PC manufacturers, network providers and other key players to create a full ecosystem to go on the road,” said Accharas Ouysinprasert, Country Manager, Intel Microelectronics (Thailand). “Through our key campaigns we have created excitement in the use of PCs and we aim to continue our efforts. This year, the ‘Amazing PC’ campaign continues to drive our nationwide effort especially including remote upcountry areas. We hope to help increase computer access and reach more than 400,000 households.”

Thailand’s First 24-Hour Happy Melody
The campaign also offers an exciting and entertaining activity for using technology. ‘The first 24-Hour Happy Melody’ activity is based on the concept of creating connected musical happiness for 24 hours, and offers the chance for participants to sing their own melody, have it recorded, and have their vocal contribution added to one special song that will ultimately last for 24 hours. Interested people can join this ‘24 hour of happiness’ by visiting the caravan locations across the country.
