Mini Hatch 5-Door awarded Best Compact SME Company Car

The company said in Thailand the Mini Cooper D Hatch 5-Door was recognised for its low running cost of 24.4 kilometres a litre and its low CO2 emissions (108 grams a kilometre), offering incredible residual values for business drivers.

The company said premium compact car embodied a distinctive driving experience and expressive style. 

Developed from the earlier Mini Hatch 3-Door, it said the Mini Hatch 5-Door offered more functionality and was more comfortable than ever, with a longer wheel base, an extra 72 millimetre leg room for backseat passengers, a third rear seat and two extra rear doors. These new features make it a great family car and a practical offering for business customers, the company said. 

The car has received positive feedback from Thai customers after its official launch in Motor Expo 2014, it said, adding that the vehicle has set the benchmark for driving fun and premium quality.
