Nissan’s Thai unit names new general manager for product communications

Nissan Motor Thailand has announced the appointment of Chayapak Laisuwan as the company’s general manager for product communications, effective June 1.
Chayapak reports to Peter Galli, vice president for communications at the Japanese auto-maker’s Thai unit.
He will lead the product communications team, which spans activities including strategic product planning and launching, tested activities, managing media relations, and stakeholder communications to enhance Nissan’s product awareness towards the domestic market.
Chayapak brings extensive communications skills to Nissan and has wide work experience in the automotive industry at major brands, including MG and Ford. 
Prior to joining Nissan, he was the director of communications and public affairs at BMW Group Manufacturing Thailand.
Chayapak holds a masters in Corporate Communication Management from the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication at Thammasat University.
