A Lamborghini owners group in Bangkok and Renazzo Motor Co Ltd led a group of over 100 tourists on a tour from Chiang Mai to Pai, Mae Hong Son province on Friday and Saturday (November 24-25).

Among these tourists were travellers in 40 colourful Lamborghini supercars. Their presence added vibrancy to Pai's tourism amidst the cooling weather. The group included well-known YouTubers and celebrities such as Sprite Patrick Bank and Yogurt. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Mae Hong Son Office, alongside local authorities including Pai District Office, Mae Hong Son Tourist Police Station, Pai Provincial Police Station, Pai Cultural Council, and Pai Tourism Business Association, warmly welcomed them and ensured road safety for the car convoy throughout their journey, in line with pre-planned arrangements.

The Lamborghini group flew from Bangkok on a chartered flight by Thai Smile Airways from Don Mueang Airport on Friday. The TAT Chiang Mai Office and associated teams also participated in the welcome at Chiang Mai Airport. The convoy was arranged at the airport and then departed with the Lamborghinis at 2pm, travelling through Mae Rim and Mae Taeng districts via Highway 1095. They made a stop at the Ok Car Park and continued to Pai, staying at a resort. They dined and explored Pai Walking Street, bustling with many Thai and foreign tourists, including youths from various provinces who were visiting for the National Youth Sports Competition in Mae Hong Son.

Pai Municipality decorated the streets with lights to welcome the tourist season and prepared for the traditional lantern festival, making Pai exceptionally lively.

On November 25, some tourists rented local two-row vehicles to visit the Morning Mist viewpoint at Sanitchon, a well-known Yunnanese Chinese community in Pai. The convoy then arrived at the Pai district office, allowing people to take photos with the cars up close.

Many locals and tourists enjoyed the opportunity to take a closer look at the cars.

Inside the Pai district meeting hall, cultural performances by Pai Kindergarten (Wiang Tai) and tribal dances by Pai Witthayakarn School (representing the seven tribes in Pai: Musor, Lahoodam, Yunnanese Chinese, Mong, Pakakayayor, Tai Yai, and Koon Meng Lanna) warmly welcomed and impressed the group.

The Pai district chief, district office director of TAT Mae Hong Son Office, Pai Tourist Police and representatives of the Pai Tourism Business Association and Pai Cultural Council, extended their gratitude to the Lamborghini owners’ group in Bangkok and Renazzo Motor Co Ltd for choosing Pai as a destination and awarding scholarships to outstanding but financially lacking students in the area.

Panumas Jongkolrattanaporn, representing Lamborghini Bangkok and Renazzo Motor Co Ltd, expressed gratitude to the host team and awarded 100 scholarships to students in need from Pai, at 1,000 baht to each student, amounting to 100,000 baht.
