Baltimore bridge collapse | The Nation
Baltimore’s 3-kilometre-long France Scott Key Bridge split into several pieces and vehicles plunged into the Patapsco River when a ship ploughed into it at 1.30am local time on Tuesday.
A live video posted on YouTube shows the exact moment when cargo ship, “Dali”, slams into one of the bridge’s pylons. The headlights of cars falling into the river are also visible before the ship catches fire.
As of press time, rescuers were searching for survivors.
