ITALTHAI Engineering Co expects revenue growth of 8 per cent to Bt5.4 billion this year, based on its backlog of more than Bt6 billion.

It plans to foray into the Asean market starting with Myanmar.
It is ready to upgrade its quality-management system to ISO9001 New Version 2015.
Sakol Laosuwan, chief executive officer of ITE, said about Bt4.5 billion from its backlog would be recognised as revenue this year, and the rest would be booked next year.
The focus for the Asean market will be on installation of building systems and public utilities, construction of renewable-source power plants, including solar farms, and construction of manufacturing facilities in the petrochemical industry.
It is also keen on the project-development business and various kinds of investment. Myanmar’s appeal includes its population, which is close to that of Thailand, its abundant natural resources and the opening of its economy.
The company is working on more than 30 construction projects in various industries, such as Phase 2 of the General Medical Centre to Honour the 150th Anniversary of Queen Savang Vadhana at the Queen Savang Vadhana Memorial Hospital in Sri Racha, worth Bt1.2 billion.
Another healthcare project is the Phoenix Medical Centre at Bangkok Hospital.
In the energy field are a 115/22-kilovolt gas-insulated substation, Ekkhachai 2 and Sampran 3 power stations, and Ligor 8.965-megawatt wind field project in Nakhon Si Thammarat.
It is a contractor for the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand’s head office, including the electrical, mechanical and air-conditioning systems in the building.
ITE has achieved an ISO-certified quality-management system and has passed the assessment to verify the system’s improvement. It had already been certified for ISO9001:2008 and the latest achievement is ISO9001:2015.
