Shenzhen-based Huion Animation Technology, a maker of creative pen displays and tablets for drawing, recently unveiled the first tablet in its Inspiroy Dial series at the Hong Kong Electronics Fair 2019 in a showcase of its latest graphic input devices.

Fairgoers were invited to try out the Q620M tablet, which won the Taiwan Golden Pin Design Award 2019 earlier this year.
the Inspiroy Dial Q620M features a dial controller stacked with shortcuts to facilitate workflow and increase productivity. Artists can use the dial controller to fine-tune brushes, adjust the canvas, pick colours and undo every line with which they are not happy within the mainstream drawing software. Users can quickly scroll through articles as well as zoom in/out while browsing through the website. Video editors, meanwhile, can even use the dial controller as a video tool to pause or scrub through videos.

Other innovative functions include a 266PPS report rate that ensures a smooth drawing experience without any lagging or broken lines and 8,192 levels of pressure sensitivity that enable every line input to be rendered more naturally as the width of the lines varies when the pressure applied to the tablet’s surface changes. Wireless connectivity and 20 hours of battery life will not only free users from cable bundles, but also bring them better convenience for capturing inspirations. Unlike other digital products that remind the users to charge only when the device is almost out of battery, lights on the press keys indicate the consumption of power in real-time, which will have users well-prepared for outdoor drawing without worrying about a dead battery.
