The NSB will also summons for questioning Akarakit's mother and two of his employees at the Area 51 big bike accessories shop in Bangkok’s Inthamara area, he said.
Chatri said Akarakit had Bt100 million placed in his bank accounts in the past two years and he reportedly wired up to Bt2 million to his mother's account and his wife’s account, with the women facing the possibility of being charged with conspiracy to commit money laundering.
Akarakit has been charged with conspiracy with commit money laundering and has been released on bail, granted on the condition he does not leave the country without court permission.
He is accused of buying a Lamborghini sports car with drug money from a network led by alleged Laotian drug kingpin Xaysana Keopimpa.
