All water-related agencies to come under one new organisation

Assistant Government Spokesman Colonel Atisit Chaiyanuwat revealed on Tuesday that the new organisation would be called “National Office of Water Resources” and it would work under the Office of the Prime Minister. 
“The move aims at boosting the efficiency of water management and providing solutions to water-related problems,” he said. 
Floods ravaged more than 30 provinces in the country during the past few months, causing both casualties and property damage.
