Taxi driver kills self after ‘unjustly’ rejected for aid
The Facebook post of a woman whose uncle hanged himself after being rejected for the Bt5,000 aid has gone viral. In the post, the woman also laments the loss of her father, who died in 2014.
She explained that her uncle was a taxi driver who needed to repay the loan for his car, but decided to kill himself after the software of the government’s www.
She said her family needed very little of the taxpayers’ money to survive, and asked why there was no justice.
