Hot and hazy day in upper Thailand, rains ease in the South

A hot to very hot day with haze has been forecast for Friday in the lower North and upper Central regions due to the heat low covering upper Thailand.

Meanwhile, the southerly and southeasterly winds would bring humidity from the Gulf and the South China Sea to the lower North, the lower Northeast, the Central region including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East, resulting in isolated thundershowers in the areas, the Thailand Meteorological Department forecast on Friday.

The easterly winds prevailing over the Gulf and the South is weakening, bringing less rains to the lower South.
