More than 225,000 job vacancies to be advertised soon by Department of Employment
The Labour Ministry is putting together a list of more than 225,000 vacancies to help workers made jobless by the latest Covid-19 wave.
The ministry’s Department of Employment (DoE) will advertise 225,207 job positions from private firms and government agencies, Labour Minister Suchart Chomklin said on Saturday.
DoE statistics show that the 10 most sought-after jobs at present are:
1. Manufacturing labourer
2. General labourer
3. Assembly labourer
4. Sales agent for service businesses
5. Sales staff and product presenter
6. Customer service staff
7. Delivery staff
8. QC staff
9. Sales representative
10. Warehouse staff
“Those who are interested can register and browse available positions online at https://smartjob.doe.go.th/ or at www.ไทยมีงานทำ.com, to avoid the risk of contracting Covid-19,” said Suchart. “Alternately, you can contact your local Provincial Employment Office.”
