Pak Chong robber offers up an unpleasant surprise
The robber in a Food Panda uniform who robbed a gold shop in Nakhon Ratchasima’s Pak Chong district on Monday turned out to be a local police officer.
The robber had shot staffer Dhitthawat Asaitham, 39, in the arm before making off with gold ornaments worth 3.5 million baht.
A police officer investigating the case realised that robber looked very much like his colleague Anucha Boonark, 25.
Anucha confessed to the robbery during interrogation.
