CNRP leader Sam Rainsy contacted Interior Minister Sar Kheng to set the date for the talks after Thursday’s CNRP news conference held at their office in the commune of Chak Angre.
“The position of the CNRP is to use dialogue and arbitration to find solutions to the stalemate,” Rainsy said in the news conference.
The CNRP has set three negotiation agendas, such as the demand for an establishment of an independent poll inquiry committee, election reforms, and the demand for some National Election Committee members to step down from their posts.
