Two films selected for Asian Women's FilmFest

Two short films have been selected for screening at the Asian Women's Film Festival in India.
“Bamboo Grove”, directed by Khin Khin Hsu, is about the ideological clash between a doctor and the traditional knowledge of people in Kayin State. “Grandfather’s House,” directed by Shunn Lei Swe Yee, is a short documentary about the granddaughter of Thakhin Htein Win – an important figure in Myanmar’s independence movement. “Bamboo Grove” will be screened on March 6, and “Grand-father’s House” will be shown the following day.
