Officers made 19 seizures at ports, airports and border crossings during that period while monitoring goods arriving in the country at those locations, including Yangon International Airport.
Contraband included computers, communication devices, construction materials and tools, and machine parts, the agency said.
Muse, Lweje, Chinshwehaw and Kanpitetee (Myanmar-China border), Myawaddy, Techileik, Kawthaung, Myeik, Kengtung, Mawtaung and Nabulal/Hteekhee (Myanmar-Thai border), Sittwe and Maungtaw (Myanmar-Bangladesh border) and Tamu and Reed (Myanmar-India border) are open for official border trade, the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs says.
