General manager and director Karun Sangfai said the company will focus on expanding its operations in CLMV in a bid to become a market leader. The company expects to see about Bt2 billion from this year’s turnover.
“The domestic market showed slow growth last year, with GDP growth of less than one per cent. Despite the declining tourism and automobile industries, the company managed to increase its sales last year by 14 per cent by tapping new markets, such as hospitals,” he said.
One of KCP’s strategies is to penetrate the CLMV markets, which will help boost the company’s revenue. Revenue from CLMV accounts for 10 per cent of the company’s sales, but in the next three to five years, that proportion will grow to 30 per cent, according to Karun.
“The size of our CLMV business may be relatively small at the moment, but it enjoys double growth,” he said
