15 projects approved in June

The Myanmar Investment Commission in June approved 15 investment projects. They involve manufacturing, construction, real estate, services and hospitality sectors.
According to state media Global New Light of Myanmar, five companies wholly-owned by foreign investors won the permission to start their garment factories - Zhongrun (Myanmar), J-Land Myanmar, JOC Myanmar, Jia Mei and Heshan Myanmar.
Grand Andaman received a permit to start a hotel business on a 1,800-acre plot in Taninthayi Region.
Others, as joint ventures or wholly foreign firms, will involve in the production of beverages, plastic products, cement and others.
