Khin Maung Zaw led the campaign and distributed leaflets.
He said: “Our aim is exactly the same as the doctors. Doctors have showed their opposition to the transfer of military officers to the health department. The army started transferring officers to our department last month. We object to it and campaign to stop it happening again.
“We conduct this campaign with the hope that we should stop their plan to overwhelm the department after 2015,” he added.
The leaflet reads “the God-sent ones have controlled the top level of the judiciary for many years. This campaign is not the work of judicial staff alone. We all must oppose the militarisation of the courts and the judiciary.”
A similar campaign will be conducted in courts in Nay Pyi Taw's Pyinmana and Lewe townships on September 10 and 11.
