The statement asked members to ensure the November 8 was conducted peacefully.
A man attacked party members with a knife while they drove around the township in an NLD campaign vehicle on October 29.
Naing Ngan Lin, candidate for Yangon Region no.1 constituency, driver Win Ko Ne and campaigner Ma Thanda Maw were injured and treated in Yangon General Hospital.
The candidate is currently MP for Dekkhinathiri Township in Nay Pyi Taw.
The MP and two others were treated at the Yangon General Hospital emergency ward.
It said Naing Ngan Lin and Kyaw Thu remained in the hospital as inpatients and Thanda Maw had returned home.
Other members, Kyaw Thu and Thanda Maw, were also injured, the NLD added.
Their injuries were not life threatening, the party said.
The party suspended campaigning on October 30 after its Lower House candidate and two activists were injured in a Thaketa Township knife attack, said Dr Wai Phyo Aung, the party’s Lower House candidate.
“We postponed the election campaign on October 30. On Saturday, we are going to conduct door-to-door campaigns,” said Wai Phyo Aung. “In our party, our teams aren’t formed with their own security. We have to pay greater attention to security.”
The NLD’s other Thaketa candidates are Than Soe for the Upper House no.2 constituency and Thet Htar Nwe Win for the Yangon Region Parliament.
